Creative Director, General Manager, Bi-Lingual Idea Man

Gustavo has always been on the quest for innovation, always challenging the status quo. He started his career in advertising at BBDO Mexico where he worked on the Pepsi and FedEx accounts. After that, he worked at the Mexico affiliates of global agencies such as Ammirati Puris Lintas, DDB, Saatchi & Saatchi and Young & Rubicam. Then he ventured as a partner in CMV Advertising (a small creative boutique that later turned into a full-service agency). This led to work in the healthcare space in collaboration with agency GSW producing work for Lilly Diabetes and CNS. He then joined GSW in the United States serving as the Vice President International Creative Director, responsible for global creative engagements and acting as a global network liason for the global brands of the Lilly Diabetes Franchise. This experience led Gustavo back to GSW Mexico as General Manager. After that, Gustavo joined the Sudler&Hennessey team as Managing Director and championed the agency into a new era of growth. His entrepreneurial spirit led Gustavo to open his own agency, *Asterisco Healthcare Communications, focusing on innovation as a driver of much needed change in the healthcare market in Mexico. After 3 years and a great reception from international and local clients, *Asterisco is currently working with Merck (MSD), Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Johnson&Johnson, Mead Johnson, Astra Zeneca, Sanofi, Lundbeck, Janssen, Stendhal, GSK, Liomont, Alexion, Roche and Biomédica de Referencia.
