David is a Londoner through and through. Born within a stones throw of the famous Docklands and with a childhood spent selling antiques with his Dad at some of the city’s most famous markets – Petticoat lane and Portobello Road – he’s got commerce in his veins. He has applied his Cockney verve for advertising mainly in the creative sector working with some of London’s best theatres including The Royal Court, The Gate and Adam Kenwright Associates. 2 years ago David moved to Berlin and often teams up with Copywriter Claire Monica Burgess as a writer and creative working together for companies such as Revolution Productions, Takt Kunstprojectraum and Palio Ignite.
David is an accomplished playwright and script-writer with international appeal has seen his work produced in London, New York, Edinburgh and Berlin. He has been commissioned by some leading companies including The Bush Theatre, The Old Vic and Blind Summit and has worked in some world-class venues such as The Public Theater, Assembly, Hampstead Theatre and Hebbel-am-Ufer. He is currently working on his first feature.
